DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKSHOP
In this intensive 3-day workshop with Glenn Vilppu, drawing legend, learning will focus on the fundamental approach to traditional Renaissance drawing as a visual way of thinking about how to get a job done.
This analytical and constructive approach will enable trainees to develop the ability to draw without copying.
The 3-day course will cover fundamental anatomical construction, the use of simple spherical forms as a tool for deepening the action of the figure in three dimensions, and the use of “boxed” forms as a means of solidifying the three-dimensional quality of the figure, with the emphasis on creating a sense of life, rendering and values.
