Come study and learn how to draw human skeletons and écorchés.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Understanding the human body, particularly its skeleton and musculature, is a powerful tool for drawing the human figure from observation, memory, or imagination.
During this workshop, you will learn to analyze and draw the skeleton and various muscles of the human body.You will learn to simplify, using mannequins, in order to better analyze and understand the shape and proportions of the human figure.

PRE-REQUISITE
Have a solid foundation in drawing.
REQUESTED MATERIAL
* A3 tracing paper (you can find tracing paper in rolls)
* colored pencils (red, blue, green)
* A3 paper (plain paper for printing, ClaireAlfa style)
* pencils
* eraser

* iPad (or tablet)
THE TEACHER

A former student of the École nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Thomas Wienc taught human and animal anatomy at Walt Disney Feature Animation in Montreuil from 1995 to 2002, then at various animation schools such as les Gobelins, les Ateliers des Beaux-Arts de la ville de Paris, and l’Atelier de Sèvres.
